The following document outlines the Mow X service Terms of Use. Before using this service, you must read, understand and agree to these terms. Please read the document carefully, and also review our Privacy Policy.
Site Use
By accessing the site, viewing any content or using any services available on the site (as each is defined below) you are agreeing to be bound by these terms. The terms govern our relationship with you in relation to the site. If you disagree with any part of the terms, please do not access the site.
Terminology
The web pages available at https://mowx.net and linked pages ("Site"), are owned and operated by Mow X ("we" or "us" or "Mow X"), an American private company.
The site is accessed by you ("you" or the "Member") under the Terms of Use described below ("Terms").
Agreement
For good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which each party acknowledges, the parties hereby agree as follows:
1. Quotes and Booking
Certain services may require a quote prior to booking. To streamline the process and ensure accurate payment information is stored, all bookings must be completed online.
2. Payment Methods
To secure your appointment, a valid credit card is required when booking with Mow X. We do not accept cash, checks, or any payment methods other than credit cards and those accepted by our payment processor.
3. Messaging & Communication
While you are not obligated to receive our automated text messages, please note that opting out may limit your communication with us, as a significant portion of our correspondence, including reminders and updates, is conducted via text.
4. Office Hours
Our office hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Please be advised that we do not process calls or requests outside of these hours.
5. After Hours
While appointments may occasionally extend beyond regular hours due to unforeseen delays, we will not schedule services after hours. We will always keep you informed of any schedule changes.
6. Delays
In the event of weather-related delays, traffic issues, or other time constraints, your appointment may be missed or postponed. Rest assured we will inform you promptly and reschedule your service as needed.
7. Payment Capture
A $1.00 charge is applied during your initial visit to capture and securely store your payment details for future appointments. This charge is credited toward your first completed service. Your information is kept confidential and shared only with our payment processor.
8. Service Coverage
Your rate includes our Mowing Service, encompassing:

Mowing all accessible areas unless specified otherwise

Trimming sidewalks and areas unreachable by our equipment

Cleaning up grass clippings from paved areas
Note that this service does not include bagging, which is available as an optional add-on for an additional charge.
9. Add-On Services
If you choose additional services, you will be charged according to the frequency agreed upon during booking. For instance, if you schedule a monthly service, charges will be applied at that monthly rate.
10. Base Rate
The base rate is the amount charged prior to any additional service fees being added.
11. Exclusions from Base Rate
Your base rate does not cover:

Leaf Cleanup

Tree/Bush Trimming

Flower Bed Maintenance

Chemical and pest treatments

Landscaping projects

Push Mower only add-ons

Overgrown Lawn Charges

Any other services deemed extra by Mow X
12. Overgrown Lawn Policy
If your lawn exceeds 6 inches in height during your first visit, we reserve the right to evaluate the situation, adjust pricing, or potentially decline service. Additional fees may apply for overgrown lawns; please contact us for more details.
13. Damage Disclaimer
We are not liable for any damages incurred during the initial visit, as our team will be assessing your property and crafting a service plan. We ask that you ensure all valuable or fragile items are secured before our arrival. Claims for damages can be submitted to support@mowx.net after the first appointment, with all claims being evaluated and verified prior to resolution.
14. Cancelation Policy
You have the flexibility to cancel your membership at any time. Cancellations for scheduled visits must be made with at least 1 day’s notice. The cancellation period will end once an official 1-day visit reminder has been sent via text/email. During winter months, you may pause or skip visits without incurring penalties.
15. Refund Policy
Any requests for refunds will undergo an evaluation process to ensure accurate processing. Refunds will not be issued until approved by our payment processor, and processing may take 5–10 business days.
16. Membership Obligations
Membership terms vary by service type. It is your responsibility to ensure timely payment for any completed services; unpaid services may result in penalties.
17. Payment Terms
Payments are due following the completion of a visit or will be automatically charged by 6:00 PM on the day of your appointment. If payment is not received for completed services, your account will be placed on hold until payment is processed. Timely payment is required before subsequent visits; delays may incur additional fees, service cancellations, or missed appointments. We will attempt to reach you via phone or text regarding overdue invoices. Accounts with unpaid debts exceeding 6 months will be banned from our services and may be referred to collections. Bans prevent service requests linked to the affected address or associated name/phone number. Accounts can be reinstated upon payment of outstanding debts before the 6-month limit.

20. Tax Policy
All prices quoted for our services are exclusive of applicable taxes. Sales tax will be added to your final invoice based on the rates determined by local and state tax authorities. It is your responsibility to ensure understanding of and compliance with all tax obligations. The total amount due will be clearly stated on the invoice provided after each service, including any applicable taxes.
